"unless you are born again,
you cannot see the Kingdom of God."
During the time our Lord Jesus-Christ was on the earth, Israel as a nation was chosen by God and its people were the only children of God according to the promise and covenant God made with Abraham. For the people of Israel, they belong to God by virtue of their nationality.
The same thing can be said of people in the western hemisphere today. Most people were born into families that traiditionally attended christian churches tend to consider themselves to be automatically christians, especially in these days in which the opinions are dominated by the distinction between "us and our civilization" and "them meaning the Islamic extremists and the whole muslim world".
What the Lord Jesus-Christ said to Nicodemus over two thousand years ago is still as revolutionary an idea today as it was to Nicodemus. The Kingdom of God is personal, not national or ethnic or even "religious", and its entrace requirements are repentance and spiritual rebirth. Just being of a good moral charater does not qualify either. Please watch Pastor Beni-Christ in the video on the right and respond by surrendering your life to our Lord Jesus-Christ of Nazareth and confess the words as Pastor Beni instructs to do.
Nicodemus was a teacher of the Old Testament in Israel so he did know what the Old Testament in the Word of God said about the Messiah. Yet he was not born again. HEAD KNOWLEDGE OR INTELLECTUAL KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST IS NOT SALVATION. If you know the Word of God, that is good. But you must make sure you have a personal relationship with the Saviour.
You must fulfill the following pre-requisites in order to truly be born again:
- You must realize that you are lost and need a saviour.
- You must realize that you cannot save yourself, and you cannot be saved by any other person, or institution such eglise, government, political party, association, a family, money, education, etc. None died for you to pay the price of your redemption.
- You must decide to completely and unreservedly surrender your life to the Lord Jesus-Christ who alone saves.
- You must believe in your heart that the Lord Jesus-Christ of Nazareth is the Saviour and that He died for you personally and that He was raised from the dead and He is alive and wants to come and live in you.
- You must invite the Lord Jesus-Christ to come and live in you, so that from now you will live in obedience with His Will. You may repeat the prayer after Pastor Béni-Christ in the video on the right of the screen or you may read aloud the words of the prayer on the left.
